Our PhD student Emma Hayashibara was awarded funding from the ESRC LISS DTP to set up a new network for early-career researchers interested in participatory research and organise monthly workshops. ​​Well done Emma!

The network is open to all PhD students from King's College London, Queen Mary University of London, and Imperial College London.

We published a new Blog post on QMUL Centre for Public Engagement blog (co-written with QMUL students) to talk about the public engagement activity on youth mental health and wellbeing we ran at the 2022 Festival of Communities.

October 2022​
Dr Michelini and PhD students Shiqi Lu and Chiara Caserini attended the UKRI Emerging Minds Summitt, an exciting cross-sector event at the University of Oxford. Dr Michelini contributed as panel speaker to the Embracing Complexity panel, highlighting the mental health needs of neurodivergent people.

June 2022​
Dr Michelini and colleagues and students from QMUL ran an activity called "Happy Healthy Minds" at the 2022 Festival of Communities (11-12 June). The activity was designed to engage the local East London community in fun tasks around youth mental health and wellbeing, including "Build your brain with Play-Doh", "My Happyness Board" and "Memory Game". Thank you to all the families who came along and played/chatted with us! Here's the beautiful poster made by our students for the event.
